So...I had to go hunting for saltwaterfish.com because the one I saved to favorites page was gone...but I found it. Things look pretty different, but at least i's here. How is everyone liking the new set up? I have no idea how to load images using the URL address...I got spoiled with point and click.

I'm just glad it is back and if they think this is a better way to keep the forum active then that's cool with me!

I have to reload my avatar and it doesn't look like an easy thing ... LOL...I couldn't find myself. Seems I have to set up a photobucket account...bunch of nonsense just to load a picture...

I dislike having a file size limit, though I understand why, it makes it hard for me to share pictures.

Where's the forum link on the swf main page? What happened to all our photos? Even the ones from my threads are missing. Is there going to be a place to store our photos in our profile again?

Me thinks its going to take a while to get used to this new site. I just hope we don't lose too many good people.

It's always hard to get used to a new method...but I think in this instance, things went a little backwards. When I first joined this site, we had this kind of method to load pictures ... and now I see blurry pics of what we do figure out how to load... sigh. still. I'm so glad to have the site back up, they are doing the best they can.

Things may be different but I still think its the best site out there. It could be a lot worse. They could have just abandoned the forum altogether.

I'm ok with pic size. Keep in mind that biggie pics distorts the readability of threads (scrolling back and forth). I notice that avatars seem blurry.

If you see glaring problems, post here. We have a topic in the Moderator Forum to address these to management and we can post problems you encounter. I've already mentioned losing all the pictures, all usernames beginning with lower case letter, and a few glitches error messages I've encountered. I had some problem signing on and had to contact SWF directly to fix this. They did so rapidly.

It's still similar to the old one in many ways. Just gotta get the kinks out and find our way around.

Kind of like when Facebook does an upgrade, but not as stressful haha

I think I like it. I think we will all have to get used to it. I'm not going to complain about an upgrade until there is a problem. I am a bit upset about losing all the pictures that I have uploaded over the years, but like anything - it's fleeting.
