hey guys,
i've been checking out these forums for maybe a month now. i finally decided to register. there is a ton of info on these forums!!! pretty cool.
this is my tank. oh yeah, is that a false perc???

ric maniac - thanks, it's good to be here. the photos were much brighter but it looks a little dark here for some reason.
TriGa22 - thanks trig. i'm still fairly new to the hobby. tank is a little over a year.

hey guys,
woke up this morning, turned the lights on and what did i see??? a shrimp! i thought it was my shrimp but it was actually his exoskeleton. he tricked me.

im always fascinated by this. just wanted to share. heh

lol i love it when my fire shrimp does that.I always think ohj no what happened to him and then i see he is sitting in his cave waving back and forth at me :D love those lil guys

mushroomss - i know exactly what you're talkin about!!! i knew shrimp molted but it still caught me by surprise when i saw it for the first time. oh man, i saw a hermit crab chewin on the skeleton and jumped to conlclusions

there he was swaying underneath his cave. that's just what they do huh
. i wanted a fireshrimp bad but i heard they hide a lot. is your's active during the day???

hey, saw your profile and you like snorkeling??? i just went snorkeling in borneo like 3 months ago. saw a ton of your yellow watchman gobies. time of my life!!!

when i had my cbs (he died a week ago
) i used to look every morning to see if he molted and once a month he did. lol

Mach03InFront - edit: i went snorkling 3WEEKS ago. lol.
here are a few pics i wanted to share. you wouldnt believe how close these fish were. i was feeding them with my hands. LOOK closely, fish in every pic.
if you look closely you can see a blenny in sand under my finger in one pic.
i took a pic of these little pools where there were a ton of blennies and crabs.
one pic was a puffer fish i believe in a pail. dont worry, i made sure the guy who caught it returned it back safely

i also saw a crazy shoal of engineering goby. it was thousands and thousands. man, i pretty much saw all sorts of fish they sell in fish stores!!!

here go the rest of the photos

this was located in the south china sea. the coral reefs were awesome!!!
oh yeah, i also fed a maroon pair!!! they were hosting some anenome also. ahahahah. i have a of stories but i don't wanna bore you guys anymore.
these fish were not shy at all because i guess they're use to humans now.

beautiful tank! congradulations, you are one of the select few who are new to the sight and have a great, healthy tank
