I doubt the lion will eat the cow fish, if he wanted to eat him, he would have done it already. Don't chase him away with the net as this will just stress him out even more and cause him to not eat for a longer time period. Lions are very well known for going on hunger strikes when moved to a new tank (and sometimes it seems for no reason) so there shouldn't be anything to get to worried about at this point. Just wait a day or so and try to feed him again, if it doesnt work, you might want to add a little bit of garlic to the feeder to make it a little more interesting. Just a thought.

Yeah I would just let the two of them sort it out. They are just trying to establish dominance, and it should stop after a couple of days.

Be aware that your cute little cowfish has the ability to release deadly toxins when it is stressed, (i.e a lionfish trying to eat it). Also when they die they are known to release these toxins which can kill the cowfish and all other fish in the tank. Just thought you should know. Regards, Tim
