Welcome, do you have pictures? You know ALL of us like to see pictures. I would love to have a little ray in my 150g.

thanks. i wish i had pics. i sold my 180 after my shark died :( so now i only have my 75 gal until i get a bigger tank this summer. the 75 holds a baby radiata lionfish (approx 1.5'') and a baby snowflake eel (approx. 7''). my camera is broken, when i get it fixed ill take some pics.
if your thinking of doing a ray i would suggest a california round or a yellow stingray for a 150. some people will say its a little small but aslong as there isn't any rockwork, sand is over 3'' deep and you have acctual sand (not crushed rock or gravel), you should be fine.

Welcome. What kind of shark did you have and why did it die? Did you ever do groupers?
I had a bamboo. raised her from a egg. she died on christmas eve! I dont know what happend, i woke up looked in the tank she was upside down swimming. someone told me it was swimbladder, i tried treating it but she died that day.
ive also kept rays and many other sharks. i would raise them and get them to eat (it can be tricky as a newborn especially bamboo sharks) then send them back to my lfs guy to sell them.
no ive never done groupers, i dont think i would until i got my bigger set up, they get huge.
Jake
