I don't believe there is a "best"...I use an assortment of snails and crabs...plus a healthy/thriving micro infauna population. Plus I make every attempt I can to eliminate sources of pest algaes....the combined efforts allow me to maintain a display with very little algaes to worry about.:thinking:
