there are many things to this. 1 you could have your lights on to long. 2 you are over feeding 3 you have dead spots whicj means you dont have good water movement in those spots. check those and see what happens

what kind of salt are u using? im not sure if its related or not, but i was using red sea when i had my major outbreak...
and when i had green hair algae and cut my lights down to 6 hours a day, thats when the red slime really took over.. since i switched salts and cut lights back up, its doing much better.

when i cut em down, the hair algae started going away, and the red slime took over! I am not sure if that was the exact cause.. I had mine cut to 6 hours a day and that was when the red slime showed up..
and i have a good turnover rate.. 2 maxijet 1200's and a ca-1800 return pump. Red slime doesnt always mean u have too little of flow, but it could be a factor.

A whole cube of brine shrimp is definately too much for 1 clown and 1 damsel. Also pour the brine through a net and don't put frozen food juice in the tank onlyput the brine shrimp in.
