I dont know what the heck is going on???????Right when you think you've seen it all...You haven't! I was in the middle of cleanning my protein skimmer about 5 minnutes before the lights were about to shut off when I notice BIG WHITE POOFS were getting released into my water? Looked like when snails spawn you see the sperm released into the water. It looked Like that but like no joking, 1000 times worse! Once I seen it, it was like a chain reaction through the tank! Now my whole tank looks like I poured a gallon on milk in it??
Under investigation I seen that all the brissel worms would come out from their hiding spots, release a crap load of that white stuff into the water then dissappear? Should I be worried? Has any one seen this before? It dont seem to be harming any thing in the tank but like I said I never seen it happen before and dont know what to do? If anything?
HELP!

yes. they are. pretty cool. i saw a video of a mass bristleworm spawning incident in a guy's tank before. run some carbon and possibly a waterchange and you'll be fine. no worries.

LOL I had the EXACT same IDENTICAL situation occur a few years back in my 72 Bowfront. The entire tank became cloudy. I monitored the fish for the rest of the day but saw no ill effects. TO be sure I made a water change and made sure the skimmer was skimming out stuff. It cleared after a day or so. Good luck.

after upgrading to my 125 gallon and feeding more dry foods instead of frozen I have noticed that there arent nearly as many bristle worms or nearly as large >(6-8" ones) as the old tank.
