I have quite a collection of bristle worms. Does anyone know how to get rid of them? :help: also does anyone know how long it takes to cure live rock?...on average that is.
Thanks,
Chris

Welcome to the board.
I agree that bristle worms are benifical to the tank, especially a reef tank. They are a great ditrivore or if you prefer great part of a cleanup crew.
Do a search on bristle worms and you will find many feel the same way, that they are good to have. There are some that are not good, can you post a pic?
If you don't want them send them my way.
If you want something to eat them a wrasse might work.

Welcome to the board!
Some also say that an Arrow Crab will cut down the population, but I have no experiance with them.
The LR question....
All rock is different. I have cured "uncured" in as little as 10 days, but plan on 2 weeks to maby a month. Depends on which meathod you choose to cure it....many versions on this subject.

I have rock that has purple stuff growing and such ...is that cured? Really excited about my saltwater tank......always had a freshwater and thought i would go out on a limb. Will post a pic of the worms soon so you can confrim they are bristle's.
