HELP! Chipped glass

I just received a 120 gal tank and stand. But, there is a 2" diameter chip inside the tank. It's located on the center of the front glass pane right where the front pane meets the bottom. The previous owner had no problem with it leaking, but it still worries me greatly. Is there any way that i can repair it?
Thanks, Matt

I would not risk it. Your only chance is to cover it with another piece of glass and make sure the entire chip is filled with silicon. I'd make sure that the "patch" contacts smooth glass all around the chip. If the chip is at the edge - I would not risk it. 150 gallons x approx 8 lbs/gallon = 1200 lbs of water . . .

I'd have to agree not to chance it....You might be lucky or get lucky, but that's alot of water to mop up plus all the goodies you'd loose in the process....
