Help!! Domino Damsel Compatibility

So I started up a 20 gallon tank about a month ago. Put a 1.5 domino and small hairy hermit to cycle it. Now my mom has fallen in love with the damsel. Out of all the fish ive ever had its the only one shes ever liked! I told her its aggressive and also that it will need a bigger tank but she is willing to get one in the future.
My two questions are: Is there ANYTHING else I can add to the tank right now that the domino wont kill? (I'm assuming no) I want a clown and a pink spotted blenny soooo badly. Can the blenny handle the damsel if its bigger?
Also, any suggested tankmates in the future? (assuming I got a 75 gal)
Any help or ideas are appreciated!

First lets start w your 2nd question. Add the damsel after your other fish, or at least after any smaller fish. Go w bigger semi aggressive fish. Like dwarf angel, dotty back, dwarf lion, fox face ECT. Right now ur in a tough spot tho

W the 20 gal ur very limited. W a bigger tank u have more room and less chance for aggression but in such a small tank there isn't much

I'm just thinking here so more research would be needed but what about an angler fish? Some people find them ugly but I find them quite beautiful. They are semi aggressive and could probably hold their own against the damsel. However, I have never kept either a damsel or an angler and therefore don't know for sure. You would probably have to get an angler that is close in size to the damsel and will stay close in size to it as they grow so that the angler won't eat it.

The only thing is the Angler might eat your inverts so if you have inverts I would definitely not get the Angler.

If the damsel gets close enough and the angler can fit it in his mouth you won't have to worry about the damsel being aggressive anymore. IMO

Thanks guys for your help. I had an angled eat a powder blue once, so IMO my damsel would be lunch. At this point I may not mind that, as cruel as it sounds. Ill probably have to rehome my domino and just tell my mom he passed away or something...
