help fast!!!!!!!!!!

i'm doing a water change (10 g) and my salt isn't dissolving all of the way. its instant ocean and when i went to use it was a little clumpy like sugar is when it gets wet. any ideas can i still add it i have no other salt it's 10 pm and my 100g needs 10g or the pumps will just shoot out air

how long did you mix it? is it up to temp?salinity? It will dissolve eventually, i wouldn't add it till it does though. Just turn off your return pump for a hour.

Pour the disolved water into another bucket. The rest that is still clumped, pour 2 cups of really hot water in it and then stir hard. The hot water will make it disolve.

yes im doing the change right now, i know i should wait but i don't have enough containers to do that (i know bad excuse) i culd mix longer, it just seems weird because usually it dissolves really fast

I use instant ocean as well, and mine does the same thing. Try stirring it realy hard and switching directions. Can you shut the pump down for a little while as stated above? If it is just a little white I don't think it is going to be that big of a deal honestly. Ten gallons out of 100

the white dots are normal and only temporary. is the temperature "normal"? just wait, within a half hour or so it will be gone

thanks everyone the water temp is up to the tank temp., and im just going to wait a little while and see if it dissolves, how long can i keep the pumps off on my tank?

You should be alright for an hour or more. Just keep stirring and then add it a little at a time as mentioned above.
