Hi - I got a firefish on Friday and he was acclimated over 2 hours, has been swimming around and eating well, but today is lying down in a rock cave. Is this normal?? He was swimming this morning, now just seems to be on his side. Help!!!
OK, he came out at feeding time and ate well and looks generally great. He keeps returning to his cave and sort of lying down. Is this normal behavior?? thanks... I love this guy and want to make sure he's OK.

I have 2 percs that are fine and now the firefish is out swimming around again. Maybe he's picked that cave as his hangout??
i believe firefish will find a cave and call it their own. its probably also just shy from getting thrown into the great big world called your fish tank
