I feed my anemone 1 silverslide or some slightly thawed once a week, my saddleback feeds it, when i drop in a silverslide he bullys out the other fish to get the silverslide and rushes it to my anemones mouth. VERY convenient, do you have a clownfish?
2) i dont have a moonlight, i leave my lighting on for a span of 12 hours, peple will debate this. some will say too long!
3) When i got on of 2 of my anemonies, i floated the bag for 30 minutes cut the bag open, added a little tank water then gently with my hand layed him in the bottom of the tank, Doesnt matter where you place him, the Anemone will go where he feels most comfortable no matter what!
4) Rule of thumb is that you need 3 watts of actinic and daylight lighting per gallon for MOST corals and Anemones so i think you definately need to upgrade your lighting, because anemones need strong light to survive and thrive so i dont think you can cheat it here..
good luck!

the watts per gallon rule does not apply to salt water tanks!! it depends on how deep the water is and the intensity of the lighting.. well, really it matters how deep in the water the anemone stays, not necessarily the sandbed..
watts per gallon is not a good measure of lighting

and then you cant forget that a 150 watt HQI MH is a hell of a lot stronger than 265 watts of PC. ......by FAR.
