Need a little help. My 3" tri colored open brain that I got last week appears to have some tissue death starting  What can I do to stop this or help it in any way? I have him on the sand bed. All other corals including Clam (T. Deresa), and lobo brain are doing great. Should I feed him? And what should I feed him? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Open brains need to be fed meaty foods. I feed my a piece of krill at least once a week. What kind of livestock do you have in your tank? Make sure the brain isn't being picked on by the fish.
I have pesky cleaner shrimps that always try to steal the food from the brain so I put a dixie cup over him when feeding (don't forget to cut small holes in the cup).

Duke, thanks for the info. Nothing picks on him, believe me I am looking at the tank all the time, wife starting to get hooked too. My Coral Beauty is a model citizen and just grazes around the tank. I like the dixie cup idea, gonna try that with some pieces of shrimp and silversides. Thanks for the help.
