Help Getting Started Again

I am preparing to purchase a 250 gal. tank. What I would love to have help with is a complete list of everything I'll need and the quantities I will need. I've had a 40 gal. for about a year and a half and though I wouldn't call the experience a negative one, it wasn't exactly great either. I do think I took a few shortcuts and I don't want to do that again. So any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Are you perchaseing everything new? at the same time? What are you planning to have in there? FO, Aggressive, FOWLR, or reef?

I really like aggressive fish but I think I'm going to go with some easy to maintain fish at first. Then, I may move up to some aggressives or corals or whatever.
