HELP!!! Gonipora Question

:help: I bought this GREAT Gonipora about 2 weeks ago and put it my well establiched tank. All my fish, inverts, coral are very, very happy. My Gonipora is developing a grey slime towards the base and the coral appears to be dying off from the bottom up. I've tried moving it all over the tank to different lighting areas and different water flow areas. Should I try direct feeding? HELP!!!!!!

Sounds like jelly disease, which many flowerpots succumb to. It may be on its way out, but you still may be able to save it.
What are your water parameters? Flow rate? Temperature?
Do you feed your flowerpots? How often?

I just started direct feeding and am hoping that helps. My water parameters are right on according to my LFS. The tank, overall, has a very high flow rate due to the amount of filtrations and powerheads. I did read that these coral will sometimes produce a jelly like substance to help trap food if they are not getting enough.....right now, I have this coral near the top of the tank for the most light (power compact lighting) and med./high water flow. How often should I direct feed my coral?

I would direct feed it with seafood every 2-3 days. Chop the pieces VERY small... like 1mm in diameter. You also have to dose a lot of phyto. I do twice what the bottle reccomends every other day, but I leave my skimmer on.
I'd move the coral into an area of medium-low flow if you can.
What size is your tank and how many watts of PC do you have?

My lighting is fine, I read the hyperlink that was attached, I did start target feeding with a baster. It seams to have helped slow down the death of the coral. I will continue to fed and see what happens. I also premix a solution of foods for everything else and that is working great.
