help hair algae

in my 72bo i am getting bad hair algae i have done water changes i have a refug and been plucking it off but as fast as i get it off in about a week it is back. i have lost a lot of my clean up crew over a long time so i know that i have to get some more but would not having them make me have hair algae.

what are phosphate levels like and what kind of water do you use? usually bad hair algae is a result of bad water going in ie: tap water. could also be bad lighting fill us in on your specs so we can narrow it down for you.

i use a chemical when it gets bad called marine SAT. kills it right away. then just keep doing healthy RO water changes... shuold help
