I need some suggestions on how to get my new Coral Beauty Angle to eat in quarantine. I purchased him from Saltwaterfish.com, he has been here two days. He is just starting to come out of hiding, but refuses everything I have tried. ( brine shrimp, flake) He is beautiful and I don't want to loose him. Thank you in advance. helipilot

the coral beautiy is an omnivore needs meaty and veggie to have a balenced diet.nori sheets are not going to fulfill that requirement add garlic extreme to its diet to help boost imune system you can add 1 drop per every 10 gal directly to the tank to entice its apetite.as for food choice try emerald entrese algae based frozen cube with mysis and brine added.its belenced and all my fish have always went for it.

Don't try to feed for the first few days. Fish go through metabolic stresses when shipped and having to use energy to digest food can actually weaken them. Fish can go a few days without eating no problem.
