cant really tell if its hair or not pics are fuzzy,
either way its feeding on nitrients that you dont want there in the first place ie. nitrates and phos
keep up on wc's and get a LMB

i wouldnt get a lawnmower. maybe some ceriths, but most importantly just keep up on water changes and keep an eye on your parameters.

That is normal growth and you just need to clean your glass every 3 days. A LMB will not clean your glass, only remove it from rock work, and imho not the cure to the problem. I have no hair algea in my tank and still have that build up on my glass. Depending on your setup you can also slow down the growth by reducing your light schedule.
I am assuming you do not have this issue on your rock work if so you do have a phosphate and nitrate issue.

My lawn mower blenny left little "kiss" marks on the glass and kept it clean. So they clean more than the rocks. Still need a mag to clean the glass once every day. Coraline has to scrubbed off occasionally as well.

yeah my lmb keeps my glass clean, I use a mag float on the front and sides and he cleans the back and rocks, I have a 125 and he keeps up on any algae so well I have to feed him spinach and algae pads
plus he's cool to watch

and yes LMB is lawn mower blenny (sorry)

why wouldnt you get a lawnmower blenny? they do a very good job at feeding on the algae on the rockwork. other fish that do this well are tangs, a foxface, and the various pygmy angels. just my 2 cents

im not an advocate of utility fish. it never solves the problem, it usually makes it worse.
Another mouth to feed=larger feedings=more nutrients=more algae growth.
Get a fish because you like the fish and because it will do well in your setup.
It's like freshwater and plecostomuses. You buy one to clean a tank and it does nothing, then it dies. Or you buy one and then it does nothing and you have to feed it. Then it grows to be 3 feet long and is your highest producer of waste.
utility fish=epic fail. Never will I consider fish a part of the cuc.
