Help! I think my Tomato Clown is becoming TOO territorial!!

Hello people! I'm new on this site and a beginner on saltwater fish.
I have a 30gal tall tank with live rock.
I been having it for about a year and a half and I had a big tomato clown that grew too big for the tank and had to give it away.
So recently I bought another tomato clown and he is about an inch long, along with 2 green chromis.
Had them on the quarantine tank for a week before introducing them to the tank.
When they were settled I noticed my tiny clown getting territorial next to the suction cup of the filter. And everytime the green chromis would get close he would attack them.
After 3 days or so one chromis died. And the other one would not eat and would stay on a corner pretty close to the top.
I took the other chromis to the quarantine tank immediately but he died over night. :(
I was pretty upset, so I took a water sample to my LFS and the water seemed fine.
I waited another week and bought a Coral beauty angel about 2 inches long. Again, the tomato would attack at the angel whenever he got closer but the angel would attack back so I took the tomato out to the quarantine tank for a week and rearranged the rock and the suction cup of the filter. After putting back the tomato he looked for the suction cup again and claimed territory. And they seemed fine and would not fight. (But I wouldn't know overnight)
After 2 days of putting the clown back, the angel caught the "ick" and so had to be quarantined. Treated with garlic food, the a UV sterilizer and daily water changes removed the ick in about a week and a half. After a few days of being introduced back into the tank, he misteriously died.
Now I dont know if it was the "ick" or the clown who caused the deaths but My LFS says it's the clown who stressed the fish and caused them to died.
So I need help in what to do. Can there be any fish who would not fight with the clown?
Or should I just leave that 30 tall all for himself and start a new tank (which I was planning to do anyways)
Could he had been the caused of the deaths?
I dont want to get rid of him neither! Lol
Also, I have good filtration, a UV sterilizer with new bulb, and airstone, also 3 different types of food.
Temp is 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

Start a new tank.....you said you want to. Clowns can like a spot and become territorial to anything that approaches it.
How big was the one that outgrew your 30? Maybe next time, get any species except clarkii, maroon, and tomato....these are the most aggressive. I have 2 ocellaris with 4 chromis and a diamond goby and the clowns haven't touched a fish.

Thanks for the quick reply!
Well the last clown was about 4 inches, and since I wanted new fish i thought he was too big for other small ones. So I gave him away.
Maybe start another tank would be nice, i was thinking a 55gal or so. :)
Are ocellaris pretty peaceful? I been wanting to start a reef. :)

OK....first of all you need to address the ich....before you do anything or buy anymore fish.....I would put the clown you have left in the QT...and do hypo.....there is a step by step in the disease section
WHILE you are doing that, leave your 30G tank.....at least for 6 weeks....ich needs a fish to live....
A tomato clown from what I understand is one of your meaner clowns.....it should be the last addition to any tank you set up
P.S. WELCOME TO SWF!!!

Thank you so much for the info people! :)
On loving the website so much! :)
And according to my LFS the "ich" was caused by stress building up because of the clown attacking the angel.
I never had it before, I always have the UV sterilizer on at all times. But, I will definitely put the clown on quarantine. (I'm doing it now)
There would also be NO more addition to the tank. I've decided it's going to be for the tomato only. :)
what can I say, im in love with clowns lol
I would start a new tank from scratch. :)
Also guys, idk if you guys can help me.
I want to add anemone to the clown after the six weeks when the cycle is done and im "ich" free.
What are the things i need?. :)

things you need...
GOOD FLOW
GREAT LIGHTS.....6+BULB T5 ( 4 BULB FOR YOUR TANK SIZE), HIGH END LEDs ( RADIONS?), THE BEST coral and anemone light is the metal halide.
GREAT PARAMETERS. anemones are sensitive creatures and can be hard to keep if not given great parameters
GOOD FOOD. food includes PE mysis, chopped raw table shrimp, etc.
some say established tanks 6-12 months old, but i added my anemones after 2 months...given i have great parameters....if you want to add one soon, make sure your parameters dont fluctuate and are solid. what species are you looking for? i recommend a rose bubble tip anemone (RBTA), these are a good starter.

LIGHTS....anemones not only need mature tanks, 6 months to a year.....DOES NOT matter if your parameters are good .....6 months to a year is what you need to wait
you say you have a "tall" tank......what is the depth? What lighting do you have now?
ALSO....as far as equipment...what do you have? Powerheads? How about a picture of the tank
AND YOUR LFS is not right.....sortof.....ICH is not caused by stress.,,,,,,it already has to be present in the system, BUT...the stress will cause ich symptoms to show.....

Oh thank you!
I will be looking for them soon, do you know if ***** sells the lights or can you recommend me a website please?
I'm also liking the RBTA looks awesome. :)
should i take out the Live rock then? And just leave the anemone?
I also have 2 small hermit crabs, (a blue legged and a red legged) is it safe to leave them inside?

I'll measure the dept later when im home. :)
And I am using a single long bulb that I purchased at ***** for marine fish.
I'm not much of an expert on lighting :/ that's why I want to upgrade. :)
And I have a canister filter for up to 100gal, with a 4 inch long air stone, and the sub UV sterilizer.
I will provide a pic tonight Kay? :)

You can keep the clownfish in the tank with the anemone....if you want some lights for your tank. PM me and I will give you MANY good options for our setup. As meowzer said, please state dimensions when you can.

You guys are really helpful! :)
I will provide dimensions when im home. :)
Since im working I would only be able to post around 10pm pacific time. (I live in Las Vegas)
And as for my budget, it doesn't matter the price :)
Also I would love some night LEDs. I seen them before and they are sooo nice :).
But idk if I can have them, can I?

Yes you can have night LEDs....LEDs are the lights of the future. how is VEGAS BABY? haha. Pm me for lights. I know many that will suit your tank.

Depending on the depth of the tank, you might not want LED's. If it is more than 24" deep, you may run into issues.

Hey guys!
Sorry I haven't upload a pic or the dimensions of the tank.
I ran into an emergency last night, but it's all good today. :)
I will upload everything later on today. :)
Also, the LEDs will be for my new tank, not the 30 tall. But i will definitely upgrade lights on the 30 tall so i can have the anemone for the clown. :)
