Hello all. Can anyone tell me what this is?

i was told that it is a toadstool leather or a hairy mushroom.

Does it have a stony base? They do resemble Hairy Mushrooms. Can you see a mouth in the center of any of them?

Thanks. No they do not have a stony base at all. I'm not sure if that is a mouth or not. It kind of looks like one

I don't know if it matters but if I move them away from the light they start to try and "reach" higher for it

Sounds like a Mushroom. Try feeding one and see if it curls around the food. A meaty bit of seafood will work.

I put a small piece of shrimp on one of them. It looked like it moved a little but it didn't eat it. I will have to try shutting off the powerhead and see if that would make it easier.

Its a forked hairy mushroom. I've got one myself. Try target feeding it Mysis or frozen brine with the power heads off.

Rhodactis indosinensis

Yup hairy mushroom coral. Medium light requirements. Photosynthesis and will eat smaller meaty foods. Aggressive to other coral and will propagate very easily, too easy some will say. Have seen them take over a tank.

I just realized I didn't say thanks for the help. I shut off the power heads and it closed up on the food. Again thank you for the help
