Have a 75g tank that i got from a friend. Not sure what type of light came with it.I think it is a t-5 single strip. What i am thinking about buying is Nova Extreme t-5 light fixture. Eventually would like to place some corals and anemones in tank. Currently stocked with about 40lbs live rock, yellow tang, 2 clowns, royal gramma, and lawnmower blennie. Any suggestions would be a big help.

how deep?
if you have a 75 and plans already, go mh.
save yourself the trouble of upgrading later. (although i love my pcs)

20 inch deep Thought t-5's would be strong enough for some coral and anemones. don't much about mh though but its a thought

T-5s are strong enough for corals and anemones if you have the right fixture. You have to get one with individual reflectors or else it is trash and will kill your potential corals. Some good brands are TEK and Aquatinics.

If you're on a budget then the Nova Pro would be a decent fixture, just buy better bulbs. The 6-bulb TEK would also be a good choice.
