Also do everything in a routine. Get the lion use to one thing happening then another so it knows it's feeding time. Like shark said, use ghost shrimp for a week or 2. Then try mixing it up. Use a ghost shrimp, then try to sneak a silverside in. Over time they will switch over to frozen food. I had a fuzzy dwarf which is nutoriously hard to get to eat frozen. It took about a month but I got him eating frozen.

its like he laughs at me as he watches them fall to the ground and turns his back Like two words i cant say here....

Try live feeders to get him started, they switch to something else. The feeders will entice him, being that they'll swim for a bit, then they'll slow down and be eaten. It will give your lion a sense of predatory eating and boost his ego. Once his mane is nice and fluffy, he'll eat like a champ. I've seen this done before, but what does "old Triggcity know."

Well some can be stubborn but most of the time they come around pretty quick.
Do you have a feeder stick, is this what you are using with the silversides?
Does it seem to prefer smaller chunks? Is is possible the silversides you tried were to big.
