Help I have what I've been told are Q Tips sponges. They are all over my tank.An I want them gone does anyone know how to get rid of them?Or what might eat them.

I too have these all over my tank. Why exactly do you want to get rid of them though? Are they causing harm, or do you just not like the way they look?

reefin,
must be that hound does not like the way they look
b/c they are signs of good water, and also help through filter feeding, which also aids in maintaining better water, not to mention the fact that they are not a bad thing
now getting rid of them on the other hand, i don't know for sure, as mentioned, air will kill them, but also everything on the rock, so will poor water quality, or just scraping them off

They look like the head of a Q-Tip, except they have a clear tube sticking straight up out of them.

Just for the record. I don't like how they make my tank look. They're all over the glass in my overflow,my clam is covered with them,my Lr everything. They make the tank look ugly.
I tried brushing off my clam to get ride of them ,but they came back.Yes I did it with the clam out of the water hoping that it would help.
