What's better for a 120 fish only. wet/dry or refuge, what type of skimmer bBrlin,ASMG,Proclear,Aqualine? I may yet add LR but at this time,no I will be using live substrate. Popular auction site offers wet/dry with skimmers for good prices. Is it really a deal?

If you have no live rock, then a Wet/Dry filter is your best bet. That's what I run on my FO system.
You should have a very powerful skimmer on this system. I'd go with a AquaC EV, My Reef Creations, Euro Reef Recirc, or Deltec skimmer.
Beware of quality on that famous auction site. Many Wet/Dry units from that site are made from inferior materials that can fail prematurely. However, if you do your research, you can get good deals there.
BTW... I'm from Cumming as well! Cool! I'm off McFarland.

I have trouble getting email through the site sometimes.
Yeah with skimmers that is par for the course. I used to buy the cheapo skimmers but now I'm working on upgrading everything to Beckett or Downdraft. One truth on skimmers is that the more you pay, generally, the better they work.

No I'm saying that it's my website that usually doesn't work. If you tried to email me directly it should have worked.
