help me decide. spotted or green mandarin

I don't have one, but I do know that the care requirements for both are the same. Personally, I'd do the spotted...its not quite as common, and IMO, a better looking pattern.
FYI...you may want to consider doing SOME research on your own, and doing a Google Image search or something, and deciding what you like the look of better. Really, just posting it on here makes it a rhetorical question. "Which do I like better, even though I like them both?" You're going to get varying answers, and its going to be even harder to decide.

Forget the mandrins! Get a scooter! I actually like mandrins too but I don't have one and I personally think scooters are prettier.

It's not a great picture, but here is one of my green manderine, Kermit. I've never had a spotted manderine but my green one has a great personality! Nobody in the tank bothers him and he just spends his day cruising around the live rock eating whatever he finds.

hmmm.... sorry but i am going to havae to disagree with you 110%. lol. I do like scooters. but i think mandarins are so much prettier. The red scooters are pretty awsome though.
I jsut got a mandarin a few weeks ago. He was very skinny

. but now he is FAT ***)

. He still hides in the rockwork a lot, but that is oaky, he is new.
