I asked this in reef tanks...haven't been on here in a while didn't realize there is a coral specific forum.
I found this picture in a thread recently of Blue Star Polyps. The picture was posted by Goober_Hunter. If anyone knows the latin name or other aliases of this coral please let me know. Also if you know where I can get one...I couldn't seem to find one on SWF.com. Any information would be great thanks.

I recently picked up a frag of that from a fellow hobbiest. For what it's worth, he was told they were called "blue snowflakes" - maybe that name will give you something else to search on...?
Good luck, they are really gorgeous, true blue even under normal room light.

are you sure those are cloves?
i have some non - blue cloves and they dont grow like that really.
from the structure of the polyps, it looks more like a daisy pot. they are like the larger flower pots (gonioporas), but dont have as elongated polyp shafts, usually much brighter in coloration, from bright pinks and yellows and reds from what i have seen.
does the coral have a hard skeleton or is it a bunch of soft polyps sitting directly on rock?
