O.K. i have to do this by explanation.because my camera is broken
.Anyway i got a featherduster a couple weeks ago.Their was a shell attached to his tube.It fell off when i was moving him. Then i noticed a tiny little brownish maroon thing on it.So i just set the shell on top of one of my rocks.Well i noticed this little thing has a grown a tad.The top kinda flattens out like a plate but not alot. Then i noticed tonight he looked closed.Like i've seen other polyps do.The plate had turned in or something
I tried to pick the shell up and get a better look but it turned in even more.So i just left it be.So i know it must be a coral but what? All i have a regular lights. So not much could survive under them i know.

No just kinda a flat plate like top when it's open. When it closes it just looks like a little stub???It's vary small.Just a bit smaller than a pencil eraser in diameter.

Could be a Zoa or a mushroom polyp. But then again a type of tube worm isnt out of the question either. Best to get it as close to your lights as you can to increase the possibility of it opening fully and try to take a picture.

I know for sure it's not a worm.I do know that.Thats about all i know though
I'm pretty sure it's a coral of some kind. When he's out he looks like a little mini maroon horn shaped thing.Kinda sticks up and wide and flat on the top. When closed he looks like any other closed polyp.Just really small.I can't take a pic.because my camera is broken
