we are not experts on anenomes, but the hubby and I tried bta's and have never had sucess with them. And we tried many. Your fist picture you posted looked like ours before they died, sometimes they would fool us into thinking they were recovering, but they never did. Found out later about adding supplements to the tank, but that didn't help either. Later we tried white sebae anenomes (we have 2) and they are awesome. Never a problem, unless light bulbs were getting old and perked back up with new bulbs.
I'd have to say anenomes are hard for anyone as there is not much info out on them. Good Luck!

To lower nitrates in a situation like yours you will need to do some large water changes. Small 10% changes will do nothing for you. When doing a large water change (50%+) be sure to match temp and salinity, and be sure to let the salt mix.
If you only do 10%, your only removing 10% of the 160ppm, which will lower it to 144 PPM. and by the time you can do another 10% that 144 will have climbed to 160 again.. Big changes are needed with nitrates that high.

Thanks.
But here is a shocker. My bta is full out now and last night before i went to sleep plus took two large krill from my hand. Then this morning she was still fully out and getting her color finally
. I got her 95% bleach almost a week ago. Do nitrates hurt a bta??? Bcuase my water test showed everything els almost at 0. Would the aerobic heterotrophic bacteria start to go away on it own? Becuase my bta is not showing any type of stressing and i dont want to stress her out again since she has been stressed the last 2 days.
