Help me out - Experience with foreign shippers - intermediary...

Many of you know I am selling my 100g Reef Tank. I posted an ad for it in the Recycler for my area. I have gotten several emails from people in which I question the validity.
I had an email from someone in Greece, saying they have a shipping agent that will pick it up.
Another was from some other country who had a similar contact who apparently owed them money and would arrange to have a cashiers check drawn up for me.
And yet there was another from some girl who sounded like she represented some company wanting to buy it, without even any questions.
I can't understand why someone in another country would want to import a used fish tank, knowing that most of the fish, etc. may die in the process.
Anyone have any experience in these situations?

Personally I would shy away from shipping a whole setup anyway. To many questions as you're having. I would simply try to find some locally (within a days driving distance) so you can arrange a pick up. Good luck with the sell

We recently sold our 5th wheel and I had a for sale ad online. I received a lot of similar responses. Most said they would pay my full asking price (or more) with no questions asked. Seemed VERY fishy to me.
Personally, I would not even consider it. Too many con-artists out there.

That's kind of where my thinking has been...I should go with my gut. If it seems shady it probably is...thanks!
