What kind of clown is it? If it is a false perc, he will be fine in a Biocube 14. Now if it is a maroon then that is a different story, I would say go with the 24 gallon. However a full grown maroon would probably be to big even for a 24 gallon.

i would say go 24 gallon also. but i still think if it is an old false perc. it could be pretty big and might be kinda cramped. just think about going from a mansion to a traylor you will be fine but it will be cramped and not as happy

Well, from what the OP said the fish stays in the same spot in that big tank. A fully grown false percula is not that big. False percs stay the smallest of all grown clownfish. 3.5 inches maximum. It just depends on what kind of clown she has.

okay tru but a 3.5 inch fish is pretty big for a 14 gallon tank? and if she wants more fish and rock.... im sure it would work but like you said and i did to the 24 gallon would be better. im not trying to start an argument. this is jmo

It is either a percula or a false percula. I don't know which one. It is small so I'm thinking it is a false percula.
So what do you think is better, living in a clean trailer or a filthy mansion? I just can't decide. I really like the idea of getting her a new tank, but my sister has me thinking that maybe I'm wrong.

it is either a true percula or a false percula. i dont think there is a size difference between the two. i could be wrong. and im not saying the environment it is in now is good but im just sayingt the bigger the better. i think i have stressed that enough by now. im done saying. go ahead and get the small 14 gallon. its your money your gunna do what you want in e end
