help me please fish in trouble

the sponge fell off the skimmer and my cow fish got his mouth stuck in it and my fricken retarded cousin didnt tell me this morning when he saw it and and now his lips are red like blood under the skin and i dont know what to do he is swimming fine. i dont have qt tank please help me i dont know what to do

That's awful. Poor little guy! It sounds like he has broken capillaries (like a bruise or a hickey) on his lips... and if that's it, I don't think there's anything you can do... but if he's swimming around and acting normal, then maybe it'll be okay.
