Help Me Please???

I need some info on sun polyps my LFS has one they dont want and will give it to me for like 8.00 dollars and it looks nice and I wanted to get some info about them.They also have a candy coral that has like 6 heads and 2 are bleached if I placed It below my lights like 3 inches under it would they be okay?I just wanted to know if I should try and save it and see how it goes?

Sun polyps I really don't know but i have heard they are hard to keep. The candy coral, seem to be a hardier coral. I just recently got one from work that was not doing to good. I lost 2 stalks but the rest are doing good. IMO go for the candy coral :)

Logan, Just wanted to advise that sun polyps dont need light, they are not photosyntheic(sp?). (im 13 sorry). They need to be spot fed with DTs or some other good live plankton food. I thinkk..?:)
 
No idea what that is, I just wanted to point out to you that you dont need to put it real high, because it doesnt need light, or I think... Yoo might wanna see what the other fellow board members say. Best of luck!

They actually do NOT like the light,they DO need to be spot fed.Their best floral extension is at night.
