Am I the onbly one that brings my own bucket when I go to a store to buy lr? put LR in bucket fill bucket with water, snap on lid. lug heavy buket home. occasionally I even stop to pay for the rock.

my lfs has those big styrofoam boxes which he fills half way with water then loads it up with lr and rubberbands the lid shut on it.

I believe that the type of anemone that you have is a tube anemone, but I am no expert. But it does look like a long tentacle tube anemone

thats basically what i was suggesting, but somebody above said keeping it damps gunna work. i can guarantee if you try and keep it "damp" your gunna have die off.
and to the OP, your gunna have to upgrade your lights if you wanna go the sps route.

if i get liverock from other lfs, sometimes they wrap the liverock in wet papertowels and they seem to be fine when i get home.

Do not add live rock unless you cure it else ware. I would suggest a new light with more power if your going to keep SPS. A light will run you $700 online. A lot more a the LFS.
If it were me I would suggest going with shrooms and polyps. Be selective and get it over time. Do not just run out and spend it all. ITs very tempting to do that. But select the right stuff and you will have the right stuff.
