Ok... I have had this tank up and running for about 5 years. Through those five years I have gone through two Ick catastrophe's which killed all my fish but one, my percula.
As I was cleaning my tank today I figured why not give it another shot. It's kinda silly to have all the water for one fish. I have no live rock, till I get a decent lighting system. And never seemed to have luck with invert's. What kind of fish would you suggest?

My last Ich outbreak was about six months ago, I used copper to treat it.
Have CC substrate, a Ehiem canister filter, a Whisper hang on power filter, a Seaclone protien skimmer, and a power head.
As far as fish go , I have had a yellow tang, coral beauty, flame angel, proc puffer, maroon clown, yellow clown, and damsels (not all at the same time)
I would like about 4-5 fish, my prefernces are few, just something toward the non aggressive side.

Well, if you put copper in the tank then that's why u have no luck with inverts!! Inverts can not live with copper in a tank...even small traces that were from 5 years ago. Same with LR...I guess you can have a FO tank and have success....no inverts at all.

I'm not sure what you mean...do you mean you had LR and Inverts before you ever treated for ich or you had them after you treated for ich? If after, then read below:

This a quote from what I put above ur last post. I'll try to explain it a little better, (sorry if I was confusing) Copper will stay in a tank. It is toxic to many fish as well as I believe all inverts. It also kills Ich. Copper does not leave ur system even if you do a 100 % water change. This is why copper is not recomended to treat for ich even in a hospital tank. It should never be used in a display tank. It's for this reason: if you ever want to use the hosp. tank for anything besides fish, (ie. curing LR) you can't cause there is copper in there. hth

I already know copper kills LR and inverts, that's why there was none in the tank. Thank you for refreshing my memory

They were added to my tank many years ago when I first started the hobby, the live rock I ended up giving away because I had no where to store it when the fish first has Ick. The inverts I had again when I first started but really had no luck with them.
Now back to the fish discussion, need idea's please!!!!!!!

What kind of a mix are you looking for? A few bigger fish...more smaller ones? Agressive, semi agressive, docile?
You have quiet a few options so narrowing it down a bit might help get some suggestions.

non agressive fish..
I like clownfish, tangs are nice, but ich prone.

I would love a whole tank full of clowns but I have heard not all the species get along. I would also prefer non agressive

Opps my fault for not reading carefully...sorry.
How about a group of chromis? They school a bit which can be nice. For the most part they aren't really aggressive.
Mated Clowns are nice...I prefer Pink Skunk or percs myself.
Citron Goby maybe?
anyone else?
