help me with lighting please...will this fixture work?

hey everyone! i have a 36 gallon bowfront tank and i want to keep some anemones, claims, and maybe some soft corals...
now i plan on buying the Current USA 30" Sunpod 1x150 watt Metal Halide Light...
now will that light allow me to keep the things i listed above? by the way my tank is 21" high...
if that light can't sustain the things i want to keep what light can? remember it has to be 30" long because thats the width of my tank...thanks for the help!!

the mh would definitely be enough light for the corals and inverts u listed. the only problem i see is the mh will only light the middle of the tank leaving the side relatively dark. if u r going with the mh, try getting one with the pc or t5 supplementing it. or u forget mh, and just go with t5 4x24w. the one 30 inch t5 fixture i know of is the sundial. it runs about $200-250 with individual reflectors.

now if i get the sundial instead of the mh than that would only be about 96 watts...is that enough to still sustain a claim, anemones, and soft corals?
and what are the lights called that have both mh and pc or t5 light supplements? or is that some kind of custom item?

Its not a custom but there's so many options out there it's confusing as heck
.
I'm looking into the Outer Orbit Extreme for my 120. It has both and seems to be a good light...IMO.

Yes Absolutley... I have the same tank and I am getting the exact same light. I wish they had a fixture with 2 150watt MH lights on on either end of the fixture. But for 36 gals and a DE MH light IMO you are all set.
