Help me with my dilemma!!!!!

Ok, so here's the deal.
About a year ago I noticed that a friend of mine had a 60gal that had been sitting in his garage for over a year. I asked him if I could use it to start a saltwater aquarium. He said sure, but let me know that he would want it back when he moved to a new place with more room.
Well, my friend has a contract on a new house. He's not pushing me for the tank, but I don't want it to become an issue. Anyway I've been on the lookout for a new tank. I just got a good deal on a used 90Gal.
My friend is willing to take the 90 in place for his 60gal. That would keep me from having to break down my tank---- BUT -- I would kinda like a bigger tank.
Here's the troublesome part. The 60gal has a unique "all-in-one" filter/skimmer/lighting setup(NO). The 90 only has the stand and tank, no skimmer, no lights, no canopy. I don't have that much cash to play around with
What should I dooooooooo!!!

I think you've answered your own question.
You don't want to break down the tank, and your friend is willing to take the other.
You don't have the cash to get the extra equipment to set up the 90g, and currently have a working system.
Give your friend the 90g.

Ok, still stuck. No really I guess Buzz is the voice of reason. Beals do you know any way to do that for say - less than $300.00?

To properly outfit a 90 with filtration and lighting you'll easily spend that much and probably more. I would keep the 60 and give him the 90 tank. Did you buy the filtration for the 60? and He just provided the tank? Offer to just buy the tank from him....And he can go get his own new tank.

you keep the 60 and then you can always get a 30 later...?
thing is, it seems like a lot of money and effort to only add 30 gallons.
if you're going to do it, why not give back the 60, sell the 90 and buy a 120?
Just playing devil's advocate here...:D
