Help me!!!!

Ok im new to this site...I have heard about it before and decided to visit it...
So i have this problem
I have a 90g tank with a lot of live rock
a filter and a protien skimmer
I have a cow fish, some corals, 2 anenomes, a cow fish, 4 damsels, 2 clownfish, a mandrain gobie, a bicolored blennie, a jennifer and some snails/crabs.
I have this problem

what is this!!!!
Last time I checked (last week) all my tank has had fine results...low nitrates and everything...I have been dealing with this for 3 months now...me and my dad have tried to scrub it out but it just grows back...I think I will visit my local LFS tommorrow after school and have them test my water (just in case my kit is bad)

It kinda looks like hair algae. My hair algae is a darker green, but maybe it can be different color greens. I get hair algae on my wave maker nozzle and I just scrub it off every few months.
When I started my tank I got a rock with hair algae and I let it grow a bit cause I thought it looked cool. and eveyone told to get rid of it so I got a few turbo snails and they mowed it down like grass!! I haven't had it on the rocks since.

ill see if my LFS has any Turbos...but I do have some of this algae that is green while some if brownish yellow...its all over...on my powerhead and every thing else...like you me and my dad thought it was cool when it started growing but now it is out of hand
Also my zoos seem to have disappeared...there are still some there but they are closed...All my other corals and anenomes have been doing fine...Are my lights ok...i have 32W aquarium lights in my fixture

I think I found my problem...someone made a thread after about hair algae and someone asked if sun hits the tank...and yes it does for my tank and they also asked if the lights were over 1.5 yrs old and mine are

Yes that all contributes, but you need to test for phosphate. Phosphate is the liquid fertilizer for hair algea. High levels will also affect zoos. You are probally over feeding, or the water you are using for changes is contaminated.

you have an anemone with a 32 watt fixture! I thought you needed more light for an anemone

thats hair algae. once u hv it, its going to be a hard and long battle to get rid of it. phosphate is obviously a factor, but even without it, hair algae can still grow and thrive in ur tank. the mexican turbo snails from the pacific or mexico will eat this kind of algae. try t keep flow high to prevent detritus from settling, and keep up with water change. also, everytime u do water change, scrub off the hair algae since the turbo wont eat anything that is too long.

I believe that your lighting is not strong enough for zoos or anenome. I have a 90 and recently put on a p/c and there is a big difference in light. My LFS would not sell me an anenome unless I upgraded my lights.
On the hair algea, what "k" is your lights, the ones that came with my tank where perfect for growing algea - 6500K.
