Ok, I haven't heard back from the person I wanted to just give the clams to. If she doesn't want them should I just not put them in ? I don't want to ruin any chance of this working because of $14 in clams

Also, I got called into work today. So for the acclimation, I can run home and put the bags in the tank when fed ex comes but won't be home till 4,5 hours after that ?

The problem is the clams will burry themselves in the sand and will be hard to find in the future. If it were me I wouldn't put them in. I've made that mistake before.

Should be fine but rem once u get home they need to be acclimated to your tank water too

Agreed they should be fine. If anything looks off in the shipment be sure to take a pic against a white background as soon as you unpack the box. Notify SWF immediately. There is a time limit on DOAs.

ok, I'll keep you all posted !

I have 5 gallons ready to go and I'll test tomorrow morning (roughly 12 hours after introducing them into the tank) tested this morning, all levels are great

my amazon order for food and a drip acclimator didn't come in yesterday (MAD!) so hopefully they come today

and will the cleaner crew feed on the brown algea that happens when cycling ?

I'm excited and nervous all at the same time !

K thank you !

And apparently usps that has been delivering to my house for 6 years couldn't deliver my amazon order of food for my fish ... being the lfs is over an hour away ...will freshwater Fish food work for today? I have to go to post office in the morning to pick my order up

Don't bother feeding today. Just wait til tomm. The shipping stress will prob have them off the feed.
