Ok that's what I was thinking too, nitrate and amonioa only ? Or what else ?Initially I'd do every 12 hours. If it stays good for a couple days go to every 24 hours.
So if it's that level again tonight do a water change ? Or no ?For nitrates it is fine. Mine are often in that range. Tanks been up and running for years.
No, don't change the water for a while as it can restart the whole cycling process. I know you have brown algae but a week and a half seems like a very short period of time to cycle. Was the rock already cured?should I test tonight and do a 3 gallon waterchange ? then continue to test daily and have 3 gallons ready almost daily ? or a bigger 5 gallon change ready ?
The rock was cured, yesNo, don't change the water for a while as it can restart the whole cycling process. I know you have brown algae but a week and a half seems like a very short period of time to cycle. Was the rock already cured?
Snails crawling out of the tank...all is not ok lolThe green chromis are, I'm pretty sure the starfish buried itself in the sand, the snails are crawling out of the tank, the shrimp and emerald crab are hanging out in "caves" in the live rock and the hermits are marching around cleaning
All seems ok
