I am not sure how far out of the water they were, My wife complained to me about them ! there is a glass cover over 2/3 of the tank, I saw some crawling at the top of the protein skimmer and on the back near the very top.

Star fish is still hiding I guess

are you going to be on in about an hour and a half ? I'm going to test when I get home and post the levels.

also, about how long for the brown Algea to go away ?

I believe the starfish has buried itself in the sand and has not come out all day ? Normal ?

And no water change correct? Test in the morning

Correct on test and yea alot of stars are nocturnal. The one i got yest is visible but hiding under lr

Honestly its all about ammonia. You have live critters now they need to eat. That will produce waste. Waste equals ammonia. The nitrates are far less lethal then ammonia

Ok, and I'm assuming no more stuff in my tank for a while ? Lol

And my "emerald green" crab... is .... white ?
