ok my green bubble coral is now starting to lose some of its zooanthelle. also the bubbles are smaller and mroe deflated than usual and i can see more of the skin of the coral then need be. tonight is when i feed it mysis shrimp, which i only feed once a week. i notice its feeder tentacles will come out not only at night but in the day too. It may be hungry, but I am just afraid of overfeeding it. What can I do at this point to help it liven up and gets its color back? leave the light on longer than 8 hrs? I leave the atenics on all night, I dont know if that would effect the coral in any way. If anyone has advice please let me know! thanks :notsure:

You leave the actinics on all night...? Well there's no need to do that because their PAR is wonthless and it may just create algae...But what lights do you have it under during the day? What else do you feed it? Try phyto feast and DT's.

I think you mean you leave on the "nitevu " moonlights that comes with the 24gal JBJ nano cube on all night? You have 72watt 10,000K 50/50 CF lights?

yes that is exactly what i have, but im afraid my lighting is not strong enough for my frogspawn. it seems to be shriveling away branch by branch. I dont want to do an iodine dip unless I have to. any other ideas for my frogspawn besides moving it to a different location in my tank? I think my two clowns may be the culprets to my dying coral
