Hey peeps, my torch coral and carnation coral are doin great in my tank.... but my toadstool leather looks shiny and white on the top and hasnt opened for a while now. Is he shedding? I dont know if he is in the right spot... I think he is in medium flow and medium light. He was doing ok, then i moved him a little, then he was still ok but now it has been 3 days since he last opened up with me at home. any thoughts?

should i run activated carbon? and should i aim it directly at him? i was afraid it was too much flow on him. Where he used to be was a lot less flow i think.

If you have leathers, you should run carbon. They pollute the water with their nonsense and the carbon cleans it up nicely. Yes, aim the powerhead right at him provided it doesn't appear to be tearing him up, you want direct flow on him while he is shedding. Try not to let the shed skin touch other corals as it can damage them.
