HELP!!! My lemon peel angel not doing well

I have had my lemon peel for about 1 1/2 years. Never a problem. All of a sudden, I noticed it hanging out behind some rockwork. It seems to be swimming listlessly. It has not visibly eaten. (it has always been a voracious eater). When I feed, it seems to come out and sniff around, but does not eat. Water parameters all test well (PH 8.2, temp 78, Nitrates, Nitrites, Ammonia 0). It also appears to be breathing rapidly (although I may have never noticed this before). Any suggestions? I am afraid I do not have much time.

How does the fish look? Color, gills red or swollen? Fins in tact or not?
Do you have a hospital tank? Notice any aggression going on? Add any new fish lately?

The fish looks fine. Maybe a little paler than usual??? No new tankmates. No noticible agression. All of these fish have been living happily together over 1 year. Sorry, no hospital tank. I probably could set one up pretty quickly if necessary.

Fish that get along fine can suddenly change. Keep an eye on the tank wo your fish noticing. Really spend some time looking, particularly when the angel trys to come out from hiding.

Having a similar situation. I too have had mine for 1-1/2 yrs. Added a few corals, flowerpot, frogspawn. Lemonpeel atarted acting as though it was being agitated by something. Has been trying to get my sally to clean it. No visuable signs of anything. Thought ICH at first, but no white spots appeared. It has been eating though. Been gone for three days, came home today and haven't seen my lemonpeel yet. Still looking...hoping to fine tonight.
