Hi all,
When I came back from my 1 week trip, I found one of my zoa polyps is upside down. Now, all of them are closed and have green thing covering them. What should I do?
Thanks.
The pictures are not clear.

dont do anything. keep them right side up and wait. I've had zoas that have turned over as well as other mishaps take 3-6 months to recover but they always do. freshwater dipping is not going to do anything. If you want to dip do it in tank water and lugols or other coral dipping solution (probably wont do anything besides kill any fauna hiding in there but wont hurt anything like a FW dip might). I'd just stick the zoas in front of a powerhead and let blow off what comes off and wait it out for recovery.

+1. just put it back where it was b4, and it will recover.

When I use the powerhead blowing off the covering things, should I use hand to make the algae thing off?

I'm not sure what you mean. I meant just stick the zoas directly in front of the powerhead for a few seconds and let whatever comes off come off then place it back where its suppose to go and leave it be. whatever doesn't come off will come off eventually. if its something that comes off easily let it blow off or use a soft toothbrush otherwise just let the zoas get it off over time.

Not sure from the pic what that film is but the zoas look fine just shake them arrund in the tank water for a few seconds to get it off and put them back where they were. Also figure out how they wound up upside down i.e. hermit crab or smail is the lost likly thing. If that is the case move them to a more secure spot or they will just get flipped upside down again
