Ouch... That certainly sounds like it would hurt a bit. One nice thing about the doctor is he can get you some 'better' pain killers.

yeah, i was excited about that.
but whatever. the weird thing was was that like when it happened i pulled it out of my hand and i was gushing blood... but it didnt hurt at all. my little brother was there and saw me bleeding and started to cry but i just got lightheaded. it was really strange. i sat down right in the middle of the kitchen floor and just looked at it.

that ran chills through my body. reminds me of that time me and my dog were playing outside and i had a broken tree branch... i was trying to take it away from him and what do you now, a quick bite and release in less than a second and he had accidentally bit my thumb and split it open with the back of his teeth. boy did that hurt for a couple of weeks
hope your cut heals up!

::sigh:: it's a puncture wound. u can't put ointments like neosporin on puncture wounds. they trap and seal bacteria they can't reach inside and as the wound heals at the ends it seals all the junk inside.... which could lead to bone infection and sepsis. it says very clearly on all anti-biotic ointment tubes that you should NOT use them on puncture wounds.
keep a very close eye on that thing- if it gets redder or more swollen or feels hot to the touch, you have GOT to go have it looked at.

thanks for the advice, i did not think about that. however, i no longer have neosporin on it, i just took my gauze off and checked it out it is actually pretty dry (like not watering or anything). like i said we put hydrogen peroxide on it and a couple other first aid cleaners (ill ask my mom when she gets home.)
