I have noticed this growing on my coral. I have no clue what it is. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

the white stringy stuff? looks like a type of sponge i had some gowing in with some zoos

Thank you for the quick response. It seems to be overtaking the coral. Is it good or bad? It came out of nowhere.
