hello everybody i have 38 gallon that is cycling now for over a month. on the first day i used the shrimp method and after 2 weeks the amonia level reach to the maximun level i guess then i decided to buy some uncured liverock and after a week that i put the LR the amonia stiill at high and then started to fell and then the NITRITE is in the maximum level but i'm reading some NITRATE i thought nitrate is present after the nitrite is zero. it is 5 weeks now since i started from the shrimp and 2 weeks after the live rock am i on the right direction? and can somebody tell what else do i need besides ph,amonia,nitrite, and nitrate test kits that i need. i have hagen50 power filter, emperor280, visijet protien skimmer, 20 watts flourecent buld and 30 lb LR is that enough or do i need more than that?
my kids love tangs, i know in not for my 38g but in case that i put it anyway how bad i'm gonna get? we just just want a tang and nemo. anybody please give the right direction.
