In FW, both "Ich" and "Ick" are short for Ichthyophthirius multifiliis. As we all know, SW "Ich" is actually Cryptocarion irritans, so "******" is a better moniker to use. Unfortunately, since both diseases appear similar, it was dubbed "SW Ich". Altho it's an accepted common name, "Ick" was likely from someone who couldn't spell "Ich"...just clarifying.
