Was it white wghen you bought him? Is it expelling himself? <--- if so get him out, not sure what all is up did it attach before and wont now? i did alot of investigating about them cause my long wouldnt attach to any thing but he has now , but in my findings it says if they start releasing from there holding spot it means there not happy, check your water and salinity should be 1.025 and what kind of lighting is he under

I've only had it 2 days. It did latch on to a rock but has moved twice. I have actinic and flourscent lighting. I has faint green irredescent (bad spelling) tips. It was white when I got it as a gift. I've tried to feed it a little shrimp and a little squid, but it won't accept it. It's moving again as I write this, toward the back darker side of the tank. what does expel mean?

Its normal for anemone to take a little while to find a suitable spot where its receiving adequate light, substrate, and current. It would be a good idea to try and identify your anemone and research its requirements. HTH
